Orders & shipping
How much is shipping?
Shipping is a flat $4.99 on every U.S. order, tracked door to door. No tiers, no minimums, and no surprises at checkout.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are picked and dispatched within 1 to 2 business days, then tracked delivery takes 5 to 10 business days across the United States. You receive a tracking link the moment your order ships.
Where do you ship?
We currently ship within the United States, including all 50 states and DC. We do not yet ship internationally.
Will I get tracking?
Yes. Every order ships tracked, and you get a tracking link by email as soon as it leaves us. You can also use the Track Order page.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Email support@matthewramsey.com as soon as you can. If the order has not dispatched we will change or cancel it. Once it ships, follow the returns process below.
Returns & refunds
What is your returns policy?
Return any unused item within 30 days of delivery, in its original condition with the card, tissue and presentation box, for a full refund. Full detail is on the Returns & Refunds page.
Who pays return postage?
Change-of-mind return postage is on you. If an item arrives faulty or incorrect, we cover the return and make it right.
When will I be refunded?
Once your return reaches us and passes a quick check, we refund to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.
My item arrived faulty or wrong. What now?
Email us within 14 days with a photo and your order number. You are entitled to a replacement or a full refund, your choice, with return shipping on us.
Gifting
Is everything gift-ready?
Yes. Every order arrives in a rigid presentation box with tissue and a card, embossed in full. Gift sets add a grosgrain ribbon. There is nothing left to wrap.
Can I send it straight to the recipient?
Of course. Enter their address as the shipping address at checkout. Prices are never shown on the packing slip or in the box.
What is in a gift set?
The Halston Finishing Set pairs a grenadine silk tie, a silk pocket square and a brushed brass tie bar, chosen to work together and boxed ready to give.
Will my gift arrive in time?
Allow 1 to 2 business days to dispatch plus 5 to 10 in transit. If you are working to a date, email us and we will tell you honestly whether it will make it.
Product & materials
What is grenadine silk?
An open, textured silk weave (garza fina) woven on old Italian looms. It holds a dimple and a knot far better than a flat printed tie, which is why it is the tie a tailor reaches for.
Are the ties real silk?
Yes. Our woven ties are mulberry silk, and the knit tie is knitted silk. The pocket squares are silk or pure Irish linen depending on the style.
What are the cufflinks and hardware made of?
Brushed brass with hard enamel faces, finished with a swivel-bar fitting on the cufflinks. The tie bar is brushed brass with a sprung steel clip.
Are the pocket squares hand-rolled?
Yes. Both the silk and the linen squares have a hand-rolled and stitched edge, the finish that keeps them crisp wear after wear.
Sizing & care
How do I choose a tie width?
Our woven silk ties run a classic 8 cm blade and the knit a slimmer 6 cm. Each product page lists the exact width, length and a short size and care note.
How long are the ties?
The grenadine ties are 150 cm and the knit tie 147 cm, a standard length that ties comfortably for most heights.
How do I care for silk?
Untie after each wear, store the tie rolled or hung, and dry clean only. Treat a snag gently and never pull it through.
How do I care for the hardware?
Wipe cufflinks, tie bars and pins with a soft cloth and keep them dry. Store them on the backing card or in the box to protect the finish.
Payment & security
What payment methods do you accept?
All major cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), plus PayPal and Shop Pay. Your card is charged once, at checkout.
Is checkout secure?
Yes. Checkout is fully encrypted and handled by Shopify. We never see or store your full card details.
Will I be charged sales tax?
Any applicable U.S. sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping state, so the total you see is the total you pay.
