Returns & Refunds

We want every Matthew Ramsey piece to be worn for years. If something is not right, returning it is simple. This policy explains exactly how returns, exchanges and refunds work.

1. Our 30-day promise

You may return any eligible item within 30 days of the delivery date, for any reason. If 30 days have passed since delivery, we are unable to offer a refund or exchange.

2. Condition we can accept

To be eligible, items must be returned:

  • Unworn and unused, with no marks, scent or signs of wear (trying a knot or fold in the mirror is of course fine);
  • With the original card, tissue and presentation box included;
  • Free of alterations such as shortening or pressing.

3. How to start a return

  1. Email support@matthewramsey.com with your order number and the item or items you are returning.
  2. We reply within one business day with a return address and simple instructions.
  3. Pack the item securely in its original box and send it back with a tracked service.

4. Return shipping

For a change of mind, return shipping is arranged and paid by you. We recommend a tracked service, as we cannot refund an item we do not receive. If an item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, we cover the return cost in full.

5. Refunds and how they appear

Once your return arrives and passes a brief check, we issue your refund to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it can take a further few days to appear on your statement. We refund the price of the item; original shipping is non-refundable except where the item was faulty or incorrect.

6. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If your order arrives faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, email us within 14 days of delivery with a photo. You are entitled to a replacement or a full refund, your choice, with return shipping on us.

7. Damaged in transit

If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, keep the packaging and send us a photo as soon as you can so we can resolve it quickly with the carrier and get a replacement to you.

8. Exchanges

We do not run a separate exchange flow. Return the original for a refund and place a new order for your preferred colour or style, which is usually the fastest way to get what you want.

9. Gifts

If you received an item as a gift, you can return it under the same 30-day terms. Refunds are issued to the original purchaser. Contact us and we will handle it discreetly.

10. Items we cannot accept

  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery;
  • Items that are worn, marked or show signs of use beyond trying a knot or fold;
  • Items returned without the original card, tissue and presentation box;
  • Items marked Final Sale at the time of purchase;
  • Gift cards.

11. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law.
