These terms govern your use of matthewramsey.com and any purchase you make from us. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Matthew Ramsey. Throughout the site, the terms we, us and our refer to Matthew Ramsey.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your state, to place an order.

3. Products and descriptions

We work to describe and photograph our products as accurately as possible. Because our pieces use natural materials such as silk, linen and brass, slight variations in colour, weave and finish are normal and are not faults. Screens also vary, so colours may appear slightly different in person.

4. Pricing and availability

Prices are listed in US dollars and may change at any time. All orders are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities, correct pricing errors, and refuse or cancel an order, including after it has been placed, in which case we issue a full refund.

5. Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. Our acceptance happens when we dispatch the order. An order confirmation email acknowledges receipt but does not by itself constitute acceptance.

6. Payment

We accept major cards, PayPal and Shop Pay. Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify's secure, encrypted checkout. We do not see or store your full card details.

7. Shipping and returns

Delivery timeframes and costs are set out in our Shipping Policy. Returns and refunds are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy. In short: a flat $4.99 tracked US shipping on every order, and 30 days from delivery to return an unused item in its original packaging.

8. Product care

Our accessories should be cared for as described on each product page and on the Size & care note. Following that guidance keeps each piece at its best. Damage caused by misuse or improper care is not covered by our returns policy.

9. Intellectual property

All text, images, logos, product designs and site design are owned by or licensed to Matthew Ramsey. You may not reproduce, distribute or use them commercially without our written permission.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the site for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with its operation or security, or to attempt to access areas or data you are not authorised to access.

11. Disclaimers

The site and our products are provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Matthew Ramsey is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or products. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Matthew Ramsey from any claim arising out of your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.
